Bahlsen launches new national TV campaign – ‘It’s not just a biscuit. It’s a Bahlsen’

This Autumn, German biscuit brand, Bahlsen has returned to television screens with a national campaign, showcasing new Choco Moments in a full advertisement which will be on air until the 27th October 2018 across a number of major TV channels.

The new advert is a continuation of the story of Bahlsen’s previous adverts, which depict the biscuits’ power of distraction through a murder mystery creative. The detective is back on the hunt for the murderess, Frau Kassmayer, but yet again, she makes her escape using another delicious distraction; new Choco Moments. The advert uses the strapline ‘ It’s not just a biscuit. It’s a Bahlsen’,  and the TV campaign entertainingly brings to life the fact that Bahlsen biscuits are a cut above the rest.

With an overall investment of £2.5M including marketing spend, this new advert is set to reach over 11m of Bahlsen’s core audience will see the advert at least once, with an average OTS of 7.5 times.

Choco Moments launched at the beginning of this year and has been crafted to meet the growing demand for indulgent and premium biscuits within the category. Choco Moments are available in two SKUs , Crunchy Hazelnut and Crunchy Mint and has the thickest chocolate topping of any Bahlsen biscuit yet, in line with findings which revealed that 31% of consumers stated that they would be willing to pay more for a biscuit that has a thicker layer of chocolate. Choco Moments are available in 120g packs in cases of 12, each packet has an RRP of £1.99.
