BB foodservice – formerly Bestway Batleys foodservice, part of the UK’s largest independent wholesaler Bestway Wholesale – has chosen its Aberdeen site to be one of just 15 flagship depots across the UK. As part of the move, the site is set to undergo a major refit to support the site’s ambitious growth targets, providing a welcome boost to the local economy.

The Scotstown Road depot, will be a powerhouse for the newly rebranded BB foodservice, which is aiming for national turnover growth of 16% in 2017.
Steven Young, the site’s General Manager, said: “The depot currently makes upwards of 700 deliveries every week to more than 600 businesses within a 240-mile radius. And we expect those figures to increase dramatically as we look to expand the number of businesses we supply with a wide range of food & drink products and a local, personal service.”
