Berocca, the UK’s leading energy & mind vitamin, is expanding its product range with the launch of the brand’s first ever single serve sachet.
The sachet has been developed to attract new consumers to Berocca who don’t routinely shop the vitamins fixture. Research has shown that one in two consumers who try Berocca for the first time are new to the whole vitamins category.
It’s hoped that by making the trial size option available in locations such as on-the-go water and snacks as well as energy drinks, the Brand will attract new users who may not be aware that Berocca offers a healthy alternative to sugary drinks. The sachet contains one orange tablet and works in exactly the same way as the tablets bought in tubes – the tablet is added to a 250ml glass of water which creates a refreshing drink, once the tablet has fully effervesced.
Each serving contains energy-releasing minerals such as magnesium, zinc and vitamins B1 and B2 which help to keep busy people on top of their game, every day. The full Berocca range is also available in other flavours including Tropical and Mixed Berries and contains no artificial stimulants, caffeine or sugar.
“We have developed these single serve sachets to provide a risk-free entry point for new users of Berocca,” said a spokesperson for the Berocca brand. “They also provide an opportunity for the brand to appear in a wider convenience channel for instant consumption along with other on-the-go options.”
The brand is currently running a £5m heavyweight media campaign with its latest creative showing an everyday guy on his not-so-everyday commute to work. This is helping to drive awareness and further cement Berocca’s strapline “You, but on a really good day”.
Berocca Single Serve Sachets have been available in a clip-strip and counter top unit from August in most major retailers, pharmacies and convenience stores (RRP £0.99).
