This tangy little number, which has recently won silver at the world cheese awards, has a creamy texture and delicious sweet taste, making Black Castello an essential item for the fridge in autumn and winter 2008. As well as the unique black mould, it’s made with a combination of cow and sheep’s milk emphasising Castello’s creamy trademark.
Launched in October 2007 the £1m brand is being supported by a £2.1m marketing programme during 2008, including press, sampling and an online campaign.
