STL Technology Solutions, the fastest growing supplier of IT solutions for the wholesale industry, has reorganised its finance and operations functions in order to effectively manage its rapid expansion. Tim Dobie, the company’s co-founder and its Financial Director since inception, has become STL’s inaugural Operations Director. He will take a more focused role in operational management, while still overseeing the company’s financial management. Reporting to him is Julie Walker, who has been appointed to the newly created role of Financial Controller.
Julie brings to STL 20 years of financial management and systems integration experience. Previously she worked in financial management roles for major building group, Eric Wright Construction, and Kepak, one of Europe’s leading food processing companies. There, she established a strong track record in effective financial control and efficient communications with suppliers, customers, auditors and banks.
While at Eric Wright, she also project-managed the implementation of a major organisation-wide system that supported all divisions in the Group, including construction, finance, facilities management and civil engineering.
