Entertaining will take on a style of its own from March with the launch of Tyrrells ’Garden Herbs’ and ‘Summer Barbecue’ potato chips as the spring / summer seasonal chips of choice for the year. The duo will be available in sharing size 150g bags as well as brand new 40g bags launched exclusively this summer, making them perfect for picnics as well as lunch time treats.
Garden Herbs blends four classic herbs – Basil, Thyme, Rosemary and Oregano, to give a delicately balanced yet flavoursome potato chip. Created specifically to capture the more relaxing side of the season, Summer Barbecue is a smoky delight for the palate. Together Garden Herbs and Summer Barbecue are the perfect accompaniments to a balmy summers evening.
Proud to be the only small chip maker in the UK to grow their own potatoes and turn them into delicious potato chips at Tyrrells Court Farm in Herefordshire, Tyrrells are in complete control from seed to chip. The potatoes are individually inspected, sliced and cooked in small batches in sunflower oil, before being delicately seasoned with flavours such as Lightly Sea Salted, Sea Salt and Black Pepper. For the more adventurous Tyrrells recommend Beef & Horseradish, Sweet Chilli & Red Pepper and Ludlow Sausage with Wholegrain Mustard. Tyrrells are also proud to be one of the original ‘Root Vegetable Chip’ innovators, introducing Mixed Root Vegetable chips, Beetroot Chips and Honey Glazed Parsnip chips to discerning snackers.
