Fine food specialist Cooks&Co has launched two full flavour, duty free cooking wines into foodservice, in 3 litre white and red bag-in-box variants. The launch follows legislation introduced in 2018, imposing duty on alcoholic drinks with an ABV higher than 1.2%. Available to order from brand owner RH Amar and listed in wholesalers nationwide, including Booker, the partially de-alcoholised offerings are made using a process of low temperature heating and vacuum distillation that reduces the alcoholic content without compromising the taste.
