outlet_jaeger.jpgJaeger, Pilot, Julian Graves and Regatta are among the well known brand names at Belfast’s The Outlet designer shopping centre that have chosen Dimplex air curtains to provide an invisible barrier of air to keep either warm or cold air in when doors are frequently opened. The shopping centre, which opened in April 2007, attracts high footfall from a wide catchment and many of the stores needed assistance to improve indoor air quality.

Julian Graves, the UK’s largest independent specialist natural food and ingredients retailer, the luxury British brand Jaeger and Regatta outdoor clothing all chose to install Dimplex CAB air curtains which can be mounted above doors at 3m high to minimise draughts and dust to maintain a warm welcome within the store.

The Pilot womenswear outlet also installed a CAB unit, plus the more powerful Dimplex DAB air curtain with a wide 40° adjustable air flow that can be used on entrances up to 4m high. An optional energy saving thermostatic control ensures visitors and staff can feel comfortable while in the store, while also reducing running costs.

The Operations Manager at The Outlet, comments: “We pride ourselves on providing an enjoyable high quality shopping experience for our visitors, so it’s obviously key to ensure a comfortable environment within the retail units themselves. The Dimplex equipment does this very effectively by keeping treated air inside even when doors are open, helping keep the units’ energy usage to a minimum.”
