Fall head over heels with URBAN eat this Autumn

URBAN eat unveils two new seasonal specials to cater for autumnal taste buds

The UK’s favourite sandwich brand, URBAN eat, has unveiled two limited-edition autumn seasonal specials as part of its expanded collection. Vegetarians will be able to enjoy the brand-new ‘Squash’d’ sandwich, whilst Herby chicken provides fans of best-selling chicken sandwiches with a delicious new flavour using the finest seasonal ingredients.

  • Squash’dRoasted butternut squash with caramelised onion chutney and rosemary mascarpone
  • Herby ChickenRoast chicken breast with herby houmous, tomatoes, Regato cheese, mayonnaise and salad leaves

A fifth of shoppers stated that an increase in seasonal or festive specials would encourage them to buy more food and drinks to go[1]. Butternut squash is a staple of autumn menus and Adelie Foods believe the new exciting flavour combination will offer shoppers a different lunchtime option this season and provide a sales boost to retailers. Both products also cater for consumer demands for nutritional products that have natural ingredients, while 8 out of ten shoppers are actively trying to improve their diets.

Isla Owen, Head of Brand at Adelie Foods, says: “Our seasonal specials continue to prove a huge hit with consumers and we’ve bolstered the range this Autumn with the vegetarian ‘Squash’d’ option, which will appeal to the growing number of shoppers looking for meat-free lunchtime products. With both products on a limited-edition run, we think that their comforting flavours will prove a hit with shoppers and offer something different for the sandwich market.

“When it comes to sandwiches, we know that shoppers want a product that delivers on taste and quality, from a brand they know they can trust. In addition to the limited edition launch, our URBAN eat range contains delicious sandwiches and wraps in a variety of classic and modern world-inspired flavours.”

The autumn seasonal specials are available now until 4th November 2018 from RRP £2.79. For more information on the URBAN eat range, call 0333 0037843 or email information@urbaneat.co.uk .
