From pies made with an indulgent all butter pastry to Eastern inspired savoury snacks – and donuts too! – there’s something for everyone in the Feel Free For Gluten Free range.

All products are made to recipes created by former chef and Managing Director of Feel Free for Gluten Free Sally Allister. Sally, who has coeliac disease and follows a gluten free diet herself, says, “Recent changes in food allergen legislation mean that diners with special diets have higher expectations when eating out.

“Our gluten and wheat free range has been developed with discerning free from diners in mind. Our products offer variety and very high quality, and many are free from additional allergens such as egg, milk and soya.”

The range includes:

Pies and pasties – including a dairy free range

Frozen Italian ready meals

Breaded fish products

Eastern inspired snacks – including samosas and spring rolls

Bread – white and seeded loaves and baguettes

Dried pasta in four varieties

Breakfast options – granola and granola bars, all made without oats

Baking mixes – a range of sweet cake mixes plus a dumpling mix, a vegetable suet mix and a stuffing mix

Ready to roll pastry

Desserts and sweet treats – including our sugared ring donuts, sold frozen and individually wrapped

Feel Free For Gluten Free supply their products to food service customers in various case sizes, according to their needs.

feelfree-logo-hiresOperations Director Stuart Allister says, “The majority of our products are individually wrapped to help chefs avoid cross-contamination with other allergens in a busy kitchen, as well as being useful for portion control.

“Many of our products can be supplied frozen, offering food service customers the convenience of only thawing what they know they will use each day.”

Sally adds, “The free from food market is currently going from strength to strength. Retailers and food service providers have realised that gluten free is not a passing fad and is here to stay. This brings a lot of innovation in the category, and the market and demand is growing rapidly.

“Our range makes it easier for food service providers to offer more choice to diners with food allergies and intolerances in the confidence that they’ve been developed by a company that fully understands the free from food sector.”
