Leading multi-temperature supply chain specialist, Culina Logistics, has been appointed by RDA Organic to manage the storage and distribution of its award winning pure, organic fruit juices and smoothie drinks.
The contract is based at Culina’s chilled distribution centre at Stafford with RDA Organic’s orders distributed to leading supermarket retailers, such as Tesco, Waitrose and Ocado, as well as major wholesalers, on a shared-user basis by Culina’s fleet of temperature-controlled vehicles.
RDA Organic fruit juices and smoothies are certified as 100% organic and to maximise shelf life for customers, the company requires a fast turnaround of stock from arrival to despatch. Culina consistently achieves this with product frequently shipped out within two-hours of intake time.
Handling a range of drinks covering kids 150ml pouches and multi-packs (4x 150ml), individual 250ml bottles and family size 1-litre bottles in various fresh fruit flavours, Culina provides a one-stop supply chain solution.
This includes co-packing services that enables RDA Organic to fulfil bespoke customer requests, such as for double size retail packs that involves converting multiple boxes into larger cases in a dedicated value added services area.
