Green’s, one of Britain’s favourite home baking brands, is launching its popular Halloween Cookie (RRSP £1.00) and Halloween Cakes (RRSP £1.49) mixes. They will be rolled out across NISA, Scotmid Co-operative and convenience stores during October.
Following an incredibly successful introduction last year, the product launches will be supported by an integrated PR and social media campaign, with all activity designed to encourage consumers to purchase these easy-to-use mixes in the run up to Halloween.
Alongside the launch of the new products, Green’s will also be running a social media competition. Bakers will be asked to submit a photo of their best Halloween bake on the Green’s Facebook page, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag, #GreensHalloweenBakes. Three lucky entrants will win a ghoulish hamper of Green’s goodies, including the new Halloween mixes. The competition will run from 10am 17th October until midnight on 31st October 2018.
The new mixes offer customers a versatile product that is fun and easy to bake. All customers need to do is add butter and water to the cookie mix, and an egg and water to create the cupcakes. A chocolate pen, which is included can then be used to decorate the Halloween treats, allowing bakers to let their imaginations run wild. From creepy spider webs to bat silhouettes, each pumpkin-shaped cookie and ghostly cupcake can be decorated individually using the chocolate sauce.
