A staggering £550k raised as the industry turns out in force.

Friday 9th March saw GroceryAid host its annual Gala Ball at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London and it was certainly a night to remember. The new venue meant over 1,100 leaders from across the industry could join together collectively to raise funds for GroceryAid.

Ticket sales plus monies raised on the night with some amazing lots in the silent auction, combined to raise a jaw dropping total of £550k. Chief Executive Steve Barnes commented: “We step changed this event with a move to The Grosvenor, doubling numbers from last year. With many major retailers, wholesalers and suppliers in the room, the industry has certainly done itself proud tonight.”

The event, hosted by comedian Russell Kane, boasted a star studded entertainment line-up of Escala, Filet of Soul and was headlined by Ronan Keating.

The date of the GroceryAid Ball 2019 is confirmed as Thursday 28th February.
