Refrigeration specialists Project First are committed to minimising their environmental impact by encouraging the use of green technologies so they are delighted to announce their new relationship with Green & Cool. Founded in Sweden in 2007, Green & Cool is the leading provider of green refrigeration systems in the Nordic countries and Switzerland. Its business concept is simple – it wants to supply the market’s most environmentally friendly refrigeration units. This perfectly dovetails with Project First’s own environmental policy.
Green & Cool’s refrigeration units use CO2 instead of environmentally damaging HFCs such as R404. In fact, R404’s greenhouse effect is a whopping 3,800 times stronger than CO2, so by installing Green & Cool’s units customers can significantly reduce their carbon footprint. All Green & Cool products are manufactured to the highest quality standards and comply with UK and European pressure and electrical legislation. They have focused their attentions to offer high volume cost effective solutions that provide a real alternative to traditional refrigeration systems and are more energy efficient at UK ambient conditions.
At a meeting in Stockholm between Stig-Goran Lind, Managing Director of Green & Cool and Matthew Reeves-Smith, Engineering Director of Project First, a two year exclusive supply agreement was signed for the UK and ROI.
Commenting on the deal between the two companies, Project First’s Managing Director, Mark Stratford, said: “We are actively promoting Carbon reduction initiatives so reducing the Project First Group and our customers’ Environmental impact”.
