Leading UK food company JDM Food Group has received the highest award possible – an AA* rating – in a recent unannounced British Retail Consortium (BRC) Food Accreditation audit.
JDM is one of the first food companies to achieve AA* recognition under the new BRC food system.
Mandeep Grewal, Technical Director for JDM Food Group, commented:

The BRC is the leading trade association for UK retailing. Although the BRC food safety standard began in the UK, it is now recognised as a global standard with over 17,000 BRC certified sites worldwide and a large network of BRC certification bodies in 90 countries.
