National wholesaler JJ Foodservice has given £4000 to charity as part of its VIVAT Fundraiser, which donates money from own-label water sales to registered charities.

JJ Foodservice staff, customers, suppliers and the general public placed more than 1000 votes via a social media and poster campaign.

The winning organisations were mental health charity, Mind (Leeds); cerebral palsy charity Broxbourne Borough Cerebral Palsy Football Club (Waltham Cross); cat charity The Scratching Post (Enfield) and children’s cancer charity Jak’s Den (Scotland).

Head of Operations at JJ Foodservice, Sedat Kaan Hendekli, said:

“This campaign helped to raise awareness of smaller charities that are not necessarily on everyone’s radar. Some are local to our branches – some are not. But they are all hugely worthwhile. Thank you to the general public and our very own team for taking the time to place more than 1000 votes.”

A Facebook video has been made by the team at JJ to highlight the winning charities and their causes.

VIVAT Spring Water is JJ’s own-brand water available in still and sparkling varieties, and a range of sizes including 330ml, 500ml, 750ml and 1.5ml. Prices start from £3.99 for 24x500ml.
