Time Wholesale Services has created 30 new Lifestyle Express stores, after joining forces with the fascia group to convert previous retail club members. This takes the number of Lifestyle Express stores to just under 800, after Blakemore’s cash and carry depots closed earlier this year.
“It made sense for us to convert our existing retail club members to Lifestyle Express,” said Sony Bihal, MD of Time Wholesale Services. “They really are the experts when it comes to convenience retailing and we know our stores are in the best possible hands. As part of Lifestyle Express, our retailers will now have the best support in the business, including a dedicated magazine and website, industryleading planograms, core range and a packed promotional calendar which enables them to compete effectively, whatever their trading environment.”
Time Wholesale Services has also created an in-depot display area, showcasing the benefits of Lifestyle Express to its customers, which is attracting a lot of attention from independent retailers.

“We have gone through a period of consolidation following the exit of Blakemore Wholesale from cash and carry and have successfully switched the majority of the Lifestyle Express retailers previously supplied by Blakemore to other Landmark Wholesale member depots.”
