Delta Refrigeration, the specialists in energy-saving display cabinets and retro-fit doors, has helped a Londis retailer make savings of hundreds of pounds on his monthly energy bills.
Delta installed retro-fitted double glazed hinged chiller doors for Barrie Seymour, of Londis in Liversedge in West Yorkshire, in January 2015. They also re-commissioned cabinets and supplied and fitted canopy and vertical LED for the retailer.
The results were remarkable, with Seymour’s bills dropping from £1,600 to £1,099 per month after the installation.

“I was also impressed that the fitters acted upon my feedback. I expressed that I get a lot of theft from the fresh meat cabinet and it would be good if an alarm could be fitted to these section doors.
“Within a week or two of the installation, the Delta technical department had devised a wireless solution for me – great service,” he adds.
“I would recommend Delta to other retailers without any shadow of doubt – their retro-fit doors are an obvious solution. I’m now chilling the product and not the store!”
