PG tips, the UK’s number one tea brand** from Unilever UK, is expanding its successful range of Fruit, Herbal and Green teas to include four new big tasting flavours; Vibrant Blackcurrant, Crisp Mint, Zesty Lemon & Ginger and Delicious Cranberry & Apple, available to retailers from February 2015.

Launched in February 2014, PG tips Fruit, Herbal and Green teas have driven incremental sales, with half of its shoppers being new to the category, attracted to a Fruit, Herbal and Green offering from an iconic, trusted brand.

The new flavours aim to tap into this success and drive increased sales within both Fruit & Herbal and Green tea by offering big tastes at an accessible price point and catering for the main flavour needs across the Fruit & Herbal and Green sectors.

In line with PG tips existing Fruit, Herbal and Green teas, the new variants will be boxed to feature bold and brightly designed packaging which highlight key flavour cues and the PG tips pyramid technology, giving it strong on-shelf standout.

Further reinforcing the brand’s taste credentials, PG tips Delicious Cranberry & Apple and Vibrant Blackcurrant have already secured a Great Taste Award. The accolade has also been awarded to Pure Green, Zest Lemon, Fragrant Jasmine and Red Bush and Vanilla.

PG tips Fruit, Herbal and Green TVC will be refreshed to include the new variants and will be back on air on 2nd March to drive awareness of the new flavours, while PG tips entire Fruit, Herbal and Green portfolio will benefit from a heavyweight sampling drive to reach 300,000 consumers in 2015 which includes Red Berries and Pure Green.

PG tips Fruit, Herbal have an RRP* of £1.19 and PG tips Green teas have an RRP* of £1.29 and are sold in packs of 20 with four units per case.
