As part of its continuous investment programme, Bradford-based National Flexible has strengthened its output capacity by adding an extra state-of-the-art slitting/rewinding machine to its existing bank of converting machinery. The new machine features laser operated core setting and differential rewind shafts, giving tangible benefits to customers. With shorter changeover times and higher cycle speeds it allows for even faster turnaround of customer orders.
The film packaging specialists, well known for cornering the BOPP film market, are going from strength to strength after expanding into a brand new custom-built factory two years ago. The factory was purpose made to be compliant with the latest BRC and ISO global standards for food grade flexible packaging materials and is arguably the UK’s largest BOPP film conversion site.
“We welcome enquiries from any packer or manufacturer wanting to source film reels,” said Marketing Manager Andy Smith. “We would challenge any other supplier to beat us on quality, service or the range of film materials we produce for our customers,” he continued.
