Leeds-based specialist software developer ATD Solutions has launched a new product to help wine wholesalers manage and automate their key back-office functions and gives customers on-line access to placing orders together with full visibility of all orders from placement through to delivery.
Simple and cost-effective to implement, Grapevine is a fully hosted solution which can be up and running in minutes with no costly or complex IT requirements beyond access to the internet.
Grapevine gives wine wholesalers the opportunity to maintain all their product information in one place, such as tasting notes, vineyard images, wine awards and component weights, together with more standards details like unit costs, tier prices etc.
Customers/prospects can have specially selected product lists together with bespoke pricing or be given access to the full product range (at their set tier price). Stock levels are updated real time as orders move through the sales order work flow process and on to final delivery.
Access to information can be controlled by user log on, so both internal staff and customer personnel can be given access tailored to their roles (and with automatic auditing / change histories). Grapevine also interfaces with most major accounting packages.
