The Corner Stores in Mildenhall, Suffolk, has been named as Palmer and Harvey’s first Retailer of the Month.
The exciting new retail initiative from the UK’s number one delivered wholesaler has been set up to promote independent retailers who have embraced innovative techniques in store, and who routinely lead the way with industry best practice.
Introduced as part of Palmer and Harvey’s 90th birthday plans, the year-long scheme is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting independent retailers around the country.
Craig and Colin Warren, of The Corner Stores, were awarded the accolade after a thorough selection process.
As part of the prize for winning Retailer of the Month, Palmer and Harvey will gift the store 90 outers from The Independent Brand Range.
Credited for running a store which is thriving, Craig puts The Corner Store’s success down to his loyal customer base, who are attracted to the well-stocked and diverse selection of products and promotions on offer in-store.

The Warren family has owned the business for 28 years, but the brothers have transformed the store with a large extension, wheelchair access and a focus on ‘food-to-go’ and chilled options; areas where they have seen big growth in recent years.
