Parfetts has expanded its network of retail development advisors to support its national expansion plans. The company’s acquisition of a new depot in Middlesbrough has taken its network to seven sites and supported the continued growth of its delivery service. It now aims to grow its retail club and Go Local fascia in the North East, North Wales and Midlands.

Guy Swindell, retail director of Parfetts.

Parfetts is now supported in The North East by retail development advisors (RDAs) Gareth Carmody, Craig Richardson and Kevin Mellor, who work with Middlesborough depot manager Joe Kaye. The Midlands is served by RDAs, Richard Huxley, Jack White and Harry Goodwin, who are supported by Somercoates depot manager Stefan Dremza. In North Wales, Steve Branny is the RDA supported by depot manager Steve Miller in Aintree.

Commenting on the growth, Guy Swindell, retail director of Parfetts said: “Our retailers tell us that they value our independence and commitment to providing great availability and value. As we continue to invest in the best people and technology, we believe that we will lead the industry in customer satisfaction.”

The investment in an experienced team to support retailers is underpinned by continued investment in technology, that has seen over 5,000 customers visit its depots or order online every week. 19% of retailers now order online and enjoy the same offers that are available in the depot. Online orders can either be delivered, subject to availability, or use the ‘click and collect’ service.

The news follows announcements that Parfetts’ retail club now has over 3,000 members and over 400 retailers in its Go Local fascia group. Members of the retail club enjoy benefits ranging from exclusive promotions to a rebate and free point of sale.
