P&H Direct, the UK’s largest van sales operation, today announced Chris Harrison’s appointment as customer marketing controller.

Chris has extensive sales and marketing experience and joins from Maxxium UK where he worked on leading accounts including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons and the Co-op. Whilst there he also lead the company’s strategy for the UK’s mixability programme, Mixxit.

Previous to Maxxium UK, Chris gained experience with Coors Brewers working for DVC Sales and Kent brewer Shepherd Neame after completing a degree in Landscape Architecture.

The role of customer marketing controller has been created to reflect the growth of P&H Direct and following the recent acquisition of the Walkers Van Sales operation from Pepsico.

The role will sit across all divisions within the business including Snacksdirect and Sweetdirect as well as the newly acquired Walkers vans.

Chris Gott, managing director of Snacksdirect, said: “The primary purpose of the role is to deliver an integrated marketing strategy which puts the customer at the heart of what we do, everyday.”
