PPS Equipment Management Ltd, a specialist provider of services linked to Returnable Transit Equipment (RTE) has now established PPS Wash, enabling it to extended its services further to offer the market washing and product sterilisation of plastic pallets and nestable crates, trays and containers, attached lid or tote boxes, collapsible crates and boxes. Whether you are renting crates or pallets from PPS or own your own RTE stock, PPS Wash have opened their doors to demonstrate working trial washes, using customers’ own soiled products on their new crate and pallet wash line.
Having relocated to new 20,000 square foot modern premises at Measham in the Midlands, just off the M42 – Junction 11 and at the hub of the UK’s motorway network, the new factory can accommodate all sizes and types of vehicles with sufficient capacity to store crates and pallets inside in designated ‘Clean’ and ‘Dirty’ areas to minimise the risk of contamination.
Using a bespoke designed high pressure jet tunnel washing system, the machine breaks down and removes ingrained animal by-products, other organic wastes and can remove paper labels and their adhesive backing. The wash line is extremely flexible and can handle products of various sizes and provide a depth of cleansing according to each customer’s needs. After washing, all products are automatically stretch film wrapped and moved to the indoors despatch area.
PPS Wash offers clients flexibility with a range of services to provide for scheduled contract washing through to one-off, ad-hoc or seasonal wash requirements.
