Hope and Glory® partners with SSAFA in remembrance of all those who have served.
As we approach Remembrance Sunday on Sunday 13th November and our thoughts turn to the British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women of the two World Wars and later conflicts, Hope & Glory® are proud to announce their official partnership with SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity and commitment to supporting their phenomenal work over the coming years.
SSAFA is the oldest national military charity in the UK and provides life-long support to the armed forces, veterans, and their families, where the lasting impact of conflict on both the men and women who served and the bereaved families left behind continues to be felt every day.
Hope & Glory® founders Nina & Bharat Chudasama, became aware of the essential work being carried out by SSAFA when they discovered its annual Big Brew Up fundraising event, and are thrilled to contribute by pledging a 5% donation from every purchase made through the online Tea Shop when using the code ‘SSAFA’.
“As a British Tea Company, we have always been fascinated by the complex ways in which the history of Tea and the history of the British Forces intertwine and meet. The annual SSAFA Big Brew Up is a charity tea party that brings together friends, family and colleagues around the world for a cup of tea and a slice of cake and raises vital funds to support the Forces community. At the heart of the campaign are the powerful, real-life tales that illustrate exactly what impact SSAFA’s support can have in the Armed Forces community.
