Margaret’s Frozen Luxuries Ltd of Earls Colne have announced that their award-winning luxury frozen yoghurts are to be showcased in the Summer issue of celebrity chef Michel Roux Junior’s ‘Seasons’ magazine as an example of outstanding quality.

A world-leading epicurean, chef and restaurateur, Roux notably commented, “That’s not naughty, that’s good for you.” Famed for being a perfectionist, Roux publishes Seasons magazine as a forum for gastronomic excellence. He has requested Margaret’s Frozen Luxuries to appear in his summer magazine, to be published at the end of May.

As well as the prominent review in Seasons, the BBC, Essex Life, the Daily Mail and the Fine Food Digest have also featured Margaret’s Frozen Luxuries.

Margaret’s Frozen Luxuries’ owner Margaret Salmon said that she is “thrilled to be chosen by Michel Roux Junior, because he has one of the most sophisticated palates in the world.” In February 2012, the Roux family legacy featured in a new series for UKTV channel Good Food.

Many renowned ‘foodies’ have enjoyed Margaret’s Frozen Luxuries’ frozen yoghurts, including professional chefs Antonio Carluccio and Clarissa Dickson Wright, as well as Princess Anne and Zara Phillips, TV celebrities Dr Christian Jessen and Nicky Hambleton-Jones, and entrepreneurs Jo Malone and Nick Leslau.

Margaret’s Frozen Luxuries is a unique family company based in Earl’s Colne, in the heart of rural Essex. Proprietors Paul Brown and Margaret Salmon combine business backgrounds with a history of family involvement in the farming and dairy industries.

Margaret’s recently received their first export order, which they are shipping to Bahrain in March. The company is a member of the Essex Chamber of Commerce and is currently undergoing talks with global distribution companies to export to countries as far afield as Australia and the Middle East.

Margaret Salmon summarised: “We are passionate about our products, their quality and taste, and being the healthy option with no artificial flavours or colours.”

Offered in four natural flavours, Strawberry, Raspberry, Hint of Lemon and Mango, the award-winning frozen yoghurts are available at stockists all over the UK – see website below for details. The products are also exported to Europe. Perfect on their own or as an accompaniment to any dessert, once tried, the wholesome and luxurious frozen yoghurts are never forgotten!

Margaret’s Frozen Luxuries are offering free tasting sessions at trade and consumer shows in 2012, and exhibiting at the IFE in March 2013.
