Parfetts Wholesale won the prestigious Best Cash & Carry Wholesaler award at the FWD The Whole Story Conference and him! Wholesale Awards presentation held at the National Football Centre, St George’s Park, Burton-on-Trent on July 14.

The winners were voted for by 10,000 independent retailers and foodservice operators who use either delivered or cash & carry wholesalers. Parfetts Joint Managing Director, David Grimes said: “These awards mean a lot to us; they are the only ones which are based on votes from our customers – independent retailers and foodservice operators – and they acknowledge the commitment and dedication of all our staff.”
For the second year running, the well-respected Advantage Report Mirror also placed Parfetts in top spot. Over 80 suppliers took part in the 2014 and 2015 programmes, rating Parfetts first out of seven participating cash & carry wholesalers.
Advantage Report Mirror gives wholesalers insights on how suppliers perceive their performance across a range of business relationship practices. Suppliers confidentially rate the performance of wholesalers versus competitors and peers which gives them the opportunity to view their strengths and improvement opportunities. It offers wholesalers the opportunity to engage suppliers in more open and collaborative discussions, gain greater understanding of their priorities, address performance concerns on key business areas and develop mutually beneficial business strategies.
