Following the tremendous success of its inaugural ‘Toshiba World’ at the end of 2010, the company has announced the date and venue for a second event aimed specifically at logistics and transport companies. The event will be held during the week commencing 7th March 2011 at Toshiba’s London office in Blackfriars and will provide end users with an opportunity to see the latest technology from Toshiba. Delegates will also learn how Toshiba provides a complete solution tailored to meet the business technology requirements of the logistics and transport sector.
A unique and innovative approach to customer relationship building, Toshiba World offers a timesaving way to learn about all of Toshiba’s products, systems and services without having to speak to its various divisions individually. By visiting Toshiba World, all the information that a customer requires can be gathered at one time in one venue, with representatives from each division on hand to provide expertise and information about the company’s range of market leading products and solutions.
The product divisions taking part in Toshiba World include PC and computing, office equipment, point of sale, cashless vending, lighting and consumer based technology including TVs, DVDs and audio technology. Attendees will be able to see demonstrations of the latest Toshiba products and systems, some of which are not yet commercially available.
The fully interactive programme will also feature a series of presentations from senior level Toshiba executives who will talk about the company’s technology and environmental initiatives, such as its Carbon Zero scheme which offsets the carbon produced through the manufacture, distribution and maintenance of its products by helping villagers in Kenya reduce their dependency on wood for fuel.
Further Toshiba World events will take place throughout 2011; targeted at specific end user market segments. Furthermore, Toshiba welcomes requests from organisations to discuss potential dates for additional Toshiba World events in the future and the company would also be prepared to host a bespoke event at a customer’s premises should there be sufficient demand.
