Weetabix Food Company is delighted to announce its official support for two fantastic charities – FareShare UK and GroceryAid. To kick off the support, Weetabix held its first ‘Charity Month,’ in April, which saw the company’s workforce raise over £1,500 in aid of its charity partners.

Fundraising activities and events took place, including e-bingo and lucky bucket. Thursdays were designated ‘Funday,’ with the staff restaurant areas transformed into a space for activities including darts and even space outside for ‘sponging’ colleagues. The main event was ‘The Great Weetabix Bake Off’, which saw entrants showcase some outstanding baking talents. In addition, Weetabix employees also gave their time to volunteer at FareShare UK’s East Midlands warehouse.

At the home of the nation’s favourite cereal, charity is central to Weetabix Food Company’s ethos and it has been a long-term supporter of both charities – in fact Weetabix has been supporting GroceryAid for over 15 years and was recently awarded the GroceryAid Gold Achievement Award for the seventh consecutive year.
