The lighters category is set to receive a boost with the launch of three innovative new ranges of Zig-Zag household lighters from market leading experts in matches and lighters, Republic Technologies.
Available now, Zig-Zag will be launching a range of high quality Utility Lighters, Kitchen Lighters and Candle Lighters (RRP; £1), helping retailers to make the most of cross-category sales and offer shoppers more choice.

Each product has gone through rigorous testing and conforms to the highest safety specification, ISO 22702:2018, which covers the safety standards specific to utility lighters. Product specifications comprise:
Zig-Zag Utility Lighters

Zig-Zag Candle Lighters

- Fixed flame technology, delivering guaranteed flame height
- Made of POM, a type of thermoplastic allowing the lighters to be thin but strong with good gas capacity
- Capacity for around 400 lights per fill and is refillable
Zig-Zag Kitchen Lighters
- Safety lock – child resistant
- Fixed flame technology, delivering guaranteed flame height
- Made from AS plastic, perfectly suited to lighters due to heat resistant properties
- Good gas capacity
- Refillable and efficient – delivering around 1,200 lights per fill
- Includes colour coordinated refill in each pack
Each range comes in five vibrant colours and is available in shelf ready packaging of 12 blister packs to increase visibility with a standout display. Retailers should dual-site each range with related categories to drive sales and encourage impulse purchases.
