Aldi is opening an average of one new store a week between now and the end of the year, bringing its award-winning value to even more communities across the UK.
Building on the stores already confirmed to open over the next two months, including Fulham Broadway in London and Deeside in Wales, the UK’s fourth-largest supermarket has now revealed several other stores coming soon.
From Pendle Drive in Litherland and Pacific Drive in Eastbourne, to Brimington in Chesterfield and Shoreditch in London, each new store will offer access to Aldi’s renowned low prices, fresh British produce, and exclusive Specialbuys.
Shoppers in Meadowfield in Durham and Ashford in Kent are also set to receive new Aldi stores, while 35 current stores across the UK will undergo refurbishments before the end of the year.
The supermarket is set to invest around £650 million across Britain through its store opening and refurbishment programme in 2025, with each creating around 40 new jobs, all with market-leading levels of pay.
Jonathan Neale, Managing Director of National Real Estate at Aldi UK, said: “At Aldi, our goal is to make sure people across the UK have access to affordable, high-quality food, and opening new stores is key to making that happen.
“We’re now opening an average of one new store a week for the rest of 2025, showing just how ambitious our plans are to build a store network that will help us reach millions of new customers. But it’s not just about openings – it’s also about making sure we have the best-paid teams in place to run them.”
In June, Aldi revealed it is actively recruiting for 1,000 new store roles as it ramps up its store openings programme between now and the end of the year.
New store colleagues will also benefit from Aldi’s position as Britain’s highest-paying supermarket, with Store Assistants set to earn from £13.00 an hour nationally and from £14.33 inside the M25 from September 2025 onwards.
