New range helps retailers meet customer demand for sustainable tableware at everyday price points, without added complexity.
Talking Tables has launched Table Kind, a new everyday sustainable tableware range, now available at Booths, the premium British supermarket known for its focus on quality, responsible sourcing and customer trust. The range has been developed to help retailers offer environmentally responsible tableware that customers actively want, without increasing prices or introducing operational friction.
Created specifically for major retail partnerships, Table Kind provides a fully certified, sustainable solution across key tableware categories, removing the need for additional supplier onboarding or extended due diligence. Designed to scale reliably across both everyday and seasonal demand, the range includes paper napkins, plates, bowls, cups, tablecloths and straws, alongside wooden cutlery and cocktail sticks.
Sustainability underpins the collection with FSC-certified paper, recyclability and compostability, and the majority of products manufactured in Europe. Table Kind has been designed to integrate easily into existing retail environments, with all formats CDU and SRP ready for efficient in-store implementation.
Unlike many eco-focused ranges positioned at a premium price point, Table Kind has been created to sit at accessible, everyday prices. This allows retailers to respond to growing customer expectations around sustainability while maintaining rate of sale and margin performance.
The range has already been trialled with Amazon, where it has become a best seller. The white napkin is currently an Amazon’s Choice product, providing early evidence of strong customer demand. Design and range decisions have been informed by Talking Tables’ ongoing consumer research, ensuring products meet real-world expectations for quality, appearance and value. A recent survey found that nearly 50% of shoppers would definitely choose a sustainable white napkin over an identical alternative without environmental credentials at the same price.*
Table Kind is available as a Talking Tables branded range or can be adapted for private label, giving retailers flexibility without friction.
Commenting on the launch, Daniel Fagan, Managing Director at Talking Tables, said: “Table Kind is about making sustainable choices straightforward for both retailers and shoppers. We’ve focused on removing complexity while keeping price, quality and performance front of mind. This is a proven offer, we’ve sold more than 2 million napkins on Amazon in the past year alone, showing that customers will choose sustainable options when they are accessible and well designed.”
Kimberley Redmond, Lead Buyer, Non-Edible Grocery at Booths, added:
‘’We are very excited about the launch of our new Table Kind sustainable tableware range,” commented Kimberley Redmond, lead buyer, non edible grocery for Booths. “Ensuring we do the right thing for our customers and environment is of paramount importance to us at Booths. This new range is free from plastic, fully compostable and fully recyclable all of which makes it a fantastic range which we simply couldn’t say no to stocking.”
*Talking Tables survey of 1,000 shoppers carried out in January. 49.2% said they would definitely buy the option with stronger eco credentials, with only 17.5% saying the eco credentials wouldn’t affect their buying decision.
