A number of independent convenience stores across the UK have been transformed with themed displays, POS and in-store theatre. With a DJ booth, product sampling and AI retro photobooth, the takeover brings the high-energy, fun and nostalgic collaboration to life in-store.

Shoppers were asked to ‘dance through the door for a chance to win more’, with stock prizes and NOW That’s What I Call Music merch up for grabs.

The ‘Now That’s What I Call Winning’ on-pack promotion is running across Discos, Nik Naks, Skips, Wheat Crunchies, Space Raiders and Roysters £1.35 PMPs and Grab Bag formats, including brand new Skips Salt & Vinegar and Nik Naks Xtra Hot ‘N’ Fiery £1.35. It offers shoppers the chance to win thousands of cash and music-related prizes, while retailers also have the chance to win with a dedicated wholesale competition featured on PMP cases, offering a total prize fund of £25,000!

Atul “Ats” Sodha, Londis Harefield, says: “Our customers’ response to this takeover was incredible, with excitement building from the moment we put out a Facebook post. We had queues of 15 people in-store at times and took over 100 AI photos in just a couple of hours. The community engagement has been like nothing we’ve seen in 38 years of running this store. By getting us involved in the process, the experience has really convinced me of the relevance of on-pack promotions. The KP Snacks team were amazing to work with and we got such fantastic community engagement, helped by me putting on a shell suit, of course.”

Running until 10th May, retailers can stock up on cases of Heritage Brands PMPs featuring the Now That’s What I Call Music promotion to be in with a chance to win part of a £25,000 retailer prize.
