Sugro UK, member-owned buying and marketing group with over 80 members and a combined turnover of over £2.5 billion, has, once again, delivered another excellent annual trade show event in Liverpool for its Members and Supply Partners.

The trade show event was a great opportunity to celebrate a huge achievement of the Group with its Members and Supply Partners, with Sugro being voted the No. 1 Buying Group in the prestigious Advantage Group – Voice of the Supplier Industry Benchmark 2026. This marks the third year out of the last four with the group securing the top spot, with Sugro previously being voted No.1 in both 2023 and 2024.

As always, the Trade Show finished with the highly anticipated Member & Supplier awards celebration evening, O’Reillys Wholesale received the Environmental & Sustainability Award, sponsored by Mondelēz UK Ltd, whilst Sun Exotic Wholesale Ltd was recognised with the Digital Champion of the Year Award, sponsored by Suntory Beverage & Food UK & I. Eurotrade Ltd was presented with the Group Rising Star Award, sponsored by A G Barr PLC, and Northern Confectioners  Ltd won Retail Member of the Year, sponsored by Swizzels. The Community & Charity Champion Award went to Youings Wholesale Ltd, sponsored by KP Snacks, and Monmore Confectionery Ltd won the Specialist Wholesale Award, sponsored by Valeo Foods UK. The Best Supplier Engagement Award went to Brand Factory Ltd, sponsored by Coca- Cola Europacific Partners, whilst Grocery Wholesaler Award went to Nasco UK Ltd, sponsored by Vimto.

Meanwhile, in the Supplier Awards, the Best Member Engagement Award went to Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, whilst Mondelēz UK Ltd received the Digital Champion of the Year Award. The Group Rising Star Award went to RH Amar, with KP Snacks receiving the Business Partnership Award. The Product of the Year recognition was given to Red Bull with its fantastic product White Peach Edition 250ml, whilst the Best Service Provider of the Year award was presented to e-bate. Finally, the Gold Supplier of the Year Award went to Carlsberg Britvic.
