A F Blakemore has opened a new SPAR store in TownHill, Swansea, after retailer Mandeep Sohal joined its Blakemore Trade Partners Plus (BTP+) proposition.
The move reflects growing demand from independent retailers for a partner offering simplicity, value and long-term stability. Under BTP+, retailers benefit from no delivery fees, no surcharges, and the opportunity to earn up to 8% rebate, alongside full development support including store layout, planograms, POS, EPOS and operational guidance.
The store has seen an immediate uplift in customer spend, including a £140 transaction in its first week – a level of spend Mandeep Sohal says “simply wouldn’t have happened before.” The improved chilled and fresh offer has been a clear hit with locals.
