• The Cadbury Dairy Milk and Lotus Biscoff partnership is extended to include two new products for Christmas: a Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff Pouch and Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff Filled Centres
  • Cadbury Dairy Milk Smash Bauble is launching in two variants: Buttons and Freddo

Mondelēz International – the No. 1 confectionery supplier[1] – has unwrapped its new festive range, set to help retailers drive seasonal sales this year. New treats and returning favourites will be in store for the 2026 Christmas season.

Seasonal sales continue to play a crucial role for convenience retailers, with 72% saying they are very important to their business and Christmas delivering the strongest seasonal sales performance. Deals and offers, alongside new product launches and display materials, were also identified as the three biggest drivers of sales.[2]

This Christmas, Mondelēz International has a range of exciting new products to offer retailers. The success of the Cadbury Dairy Milk and Lotus Biscoff partnership continues this Christmas season with the new Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff Filled Centres joining the self-eat Christmas portfolio. The new Filled Centres bring fans more of the creamy Cadbury chocolate they know and love, combined with crunchy Biscoff spread. This product is available as a single, great for stocking stuffers, as well as in a 3-pack multipack tapping into the sharing occasions at Christmas.

Another new Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff innovation for Christmas this year in a shareable format is a Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff Pouch, offering a mix of iconic Cadbury Dairy Milk Chunks and Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff chunks with crunchy Biscoff spread. The new addition allows consumers to indulge with bitesize chunks whether they are looking for a small treat or sharing with friends and family.

Mondelēz International has another exciting launch with a Cadbury Dairy Milk Smash Bauble. The Smash Bauble is a fun and interactive way to celebrate Christmas. Shoppers are invited to smash open the Cadbury Dairy Milk bauble to reveal Buttons or Freddo faces inside. Perfect as a gift, stocking stuffer or a fun activity, the Smash Baubles are set to shake up shelves this festive season.

Fast Start

The run-up to Christmas begins in September with a ‘fast start’, where 23% of all Christmas confectionery sales in independent convenience and symbol stores comes in the first period of the season.[3] Mondelēz International advises retailers to prepare for the increase in Big Night In occasions as the weather gets cooler and shoppers look to spend more nights at home by stocking up on self-eat treats, sharing formats and tablets. These products appearing on shelves act as the first indicator of Christmas to shoppers, beginning to drive seasonal excitement.

As shoppers start to get into the festive spirit, self-eat products are key. Cadbury Puds are the No. 12 product in the self-eat novelty category in independent convenience and symbol stores. They are also available in a 5-pack multipack.

Sharing formats also present retailers with an opportunity to drive incremental sales. Cadbury Mini Puds and Cadbury Mini Snow Balls, the No. 12 product in sharing novelty, bring these festive favourites into a bitesize bag format perfect for sharing. The bags feature standout festive designs and appeal to shoppers looking for a stocking filler gift or even as a treat to enjoy themselves. Clip strips are available too for both products, which will disrupt shoppers in-store and drive purchases. Cadbury Dairy Milk Robins are available in bag format.

Cadbury Roses and Cadbury Heroes, which featured stunning new designs last year, help retailers further tap into the sharing occasions occurring throughout the season and are available in cartons and pouches.

Countdown to Christmas

In the countdown to Christmas, gifting blocks are a key sales driver. Cadbury offers a wide range of gifting blocks including the classic Cadbury Dairy Milk 345g bar, which is Mondelez International’s’ No. 1 gift block in independent retailers and symbol groups2. In addition to the classic, Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff, which launched last year, was the No. 1 traditional new product launch of the season[4], and is available again year-round for gifting. Other gift blocks include Cadbury Mini Snow BallsCadbury Dairy Milk Winter Wonderland and Cadbury Dairy Milk Winter Mint Crisp offering a range of flavours to suite different shopper preferences.

In biscuits, OREO, the world’s No. 1 cookie[5], is offering its successful limited-edition OREO GingerbreadOREO Enrobed White is returning to shelves this Christmas. OREO Enrobed White is an indulgent twist on the classic OREO as it’s covered with a smooth white chocolate flavour cream enrobing the biscuit and offering another layer of flavour for consumers to enjoy as an indulgent snack. Cadbury Snowy Fingers, the winter twist on the classic Cadbury Fingers with a milk and white chocolate coating, is also returning to shelves for 2026, alongside Cadbury Festive Animals, to tap into more festive joy.

This year, Mondelēz International continues to offer shoppers choice with its selection of advent calendars. Mondelēz International recommends that retailers also stock the Cadbury Dairy Milk 90g Advent Calendar, the No. 1 advent calendar2, which offers an accessible entry point to the category and improved packaging with the tray made from 35% recycled plastic. Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff Advent Calendar returns following a successful launch last year, ranking as the No. 1 new advent calendar4. The advent calendar features 24 Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolates, 12 of these are Cadbury Dairy Milk chunks while the other 12 are Cadbury Dairy Milk chunks with crunchy Biscoff spread. It’s a great option for those looking to trade-up this year and makes the countdown ritual even more special.

Gifting Finish

December remains a key sales period for retailers to drive sales through gifting and sharing formats. In fact, the gifting finish sales period makes up 37% of total Christmas sales in independent convenience and symbol groups2. Selection boxes such as the Cadbury Medium Selection Box, an ideal stocking filler and the No. 1 product in the category2 as well as Cadbury Milk Tray, the No.1 everyday gift brand2 offer the perfect gift ahead of Christmas.

Finally, Mondelēz International is bringing back a family favourite, with the return of the beloved Cadbury Dairy Milk Coins, which were a huge success. In 2025, Cadbury Milk Coins was the No.1 gifting novelty SKU of the season across the whole market, growing 34% year on year[6]. Bringing a touch of nostalgia and magic to the season, Cadbury Dairy Milk Coins are a great stocking filler, set to delight shoppers again this year and drive incremental sales for retailers. This product is also available in clip strips, to prompt stocking filler purchases with shoppers.

Secret Santa Postal Service

Cadbury is once again running its award-winning Secret Santa Postal Service this year, offering consumers the opportunity to send someone a free bar of Cadbury chocolate in the leadup to Christmas.

The Cadbury Secret Santa Postal Service embodies the Cadbury spirit of generosity and the spirit of Christmas, offering shoppers the chance to gift their loved ones a free chocolate bar anonymously to someone special.

Cadbury is also offering retailers the opportunity to get involved and host their own Secret Santa Postal Service in their store to support their local communities via a competition on SnackDisplay.co.uk. Entries will be open from 1st September to 18th October 2026**. There are three separate Cadbury Secret Santa prize packages to be won, and successful retailers will receive everything they need to host their own event, including 150 Cadbury Dairy Milk 100g tablets, envelopes and postage as well as in-store posters to promote the event.

Gabriella Sargeant, Junior Brand Manager, Christmas, at Mondelēz International, said: “We believe that it’s not Christmas without Cadbury and this year we are giving retailers even more opportunities to drive incremental sales this winter, with innovations driving excitement. This Christmas we’re extending our successful partnership with Lotus Biscoff even further, introducing a Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff pouch, filled with chunks of Cadbury Dairy Milk and Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff for those sharing or Big Night In occasions. As well we are also introducing Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff Filled Centres, the perfect addition to our self-eat range for those indulgent moments throughout the Christmas season.
