One of the UK’s leading independent food wholesalers Castell Howell Foods, is proud to announce that shareholder and Transport Director, Martin Jones, has been presented with the Outstanding Leadership Award at the prestigious TCS&D Cold Chain Awards.
As the son of founder Brian Jones, Martin has grown up within the family business, yet his contribution to Castell Howell’s success has established a legacy distinctly of its own. Over the years, he has transformed the company’s transport operations, helping to build one of the most efficient and resilient distribution networks in the wholesale sector. Playing a pivotal role in the company’s ambitious £18 million warehouse expansion, Martin has spearheaded this major investment that will support future growth and enhance service for customers across the UK.
Commenting on the award, Martin said “I am incredibly honoured to receive this award. The award follows the company’s recent announcement of a new long-term partnership with the Football Association of Wales (FAW), which sees Castell Howell become the organisation’s Official Food Wholesale Partner.
