Cotswold Fayre has been appointed the exclusive speciality wholesale partner for the new bottlegreen x Highgrove collection, bringing the much-anticipated range of premium cordials to independent speciality retailers across the UK – almost three decades after bottlegreen became the wholesaler’s second brand.
Launching in October, the new collection is a collaboration between premium soft drinks brand bottlegreen, Highgrove and The King’s Foundation, inspired by the plants, flowers and flavours of Highgrove Gardens.
The partnership brings together names with deep roots in The Cotswolds and a shared appreciation for nature, craftsmanship and distinctive flavour. Highgrove Gardens, The King’s gardens in Gloucestershire, provided the creative inspiration for both the flavour combinations and the beautifully illustrated botanical packaging.
There is a particular significance to the partnership for Cotswold Fayre. bottlegreen was the second brand stocked by founder and CEO Paul Hargreaves when he established the business, creating a relationship that has endured as both businesses have grown. Cotswold Fayre will now bring this latest collection to independent farm shops, food halls, delis, garden centres and other speciality retailers across the UK.
The Collection
Magnolia & Elderflower
A fragrant floral blend of magnolia petals and wild elderflower, inspired by the spring blooms found throughout Highgrove Gardens.
English Rose & Raspberry
A blend of ripe British raspberry juice and English rose extract, balancing delicate floral notes with bright fruitiness.
Rhubarb & Ginger
British pressed rhubarb juice combined with ginger extract, bringing together fresh fruit character with gentle warmth.
The collaboration builds on bottlegreen’s own Cotswolds heritage. Since 1989, the brand has been crafting distinctive drinks using carefully selected ingredients and botanical flavour combinations, just a short distance from Highgrove.
Paul Hargreaves, Founder and CEO of Cotswold Fayre, said:
“There’s a lovely full-circle element to this partnership for me. bottlegreen was there right at the beginning of the Cotswold Fayre story, so I’m incredibly proud that we are now the exclusive speciality wholesale partner for such a special collaboration.
“Having worked with bottlegreen for almost three decades, we’ve always valued the brand’s Cotswolds heritage and its focus on provenance, nature and craftsmanship. This collaboration with Highgrove feels like a natural extension of that story, and the charitable contribution through The King’s Foundation aligns brilliantly with our own values as a
B Corp.
“It’s exactly the kind of product our customers get excited about – beautifully presented, distinctive and with a genuine, compelling story behind it. We’re delighted to be bringing it to speciality retailers across the country and continuing a relationship that has been important to Cotswold Fayre from our earliest days.”
For every bottle sold, 25p will support the work of The King’s Foundation, helping the charity to build sustainable communities and transform lives through practical education programmes and regeneration projects – many of which take place at Highgrove.
The charitable contribution also resonates strongly with Cotswold Fayre’s own values as a certified B Corp, with both organisations sharing a commitment to using business as a force for good on people, communities and the planet.
The King’s Foundation was founded in 1990 by His Majesty as Prince of Wales, who remains its Royal Founding President. The charity now acts as custodian of Highgrove Gardens, with proceeds from garden tours and Highgrove products supporting its charitable work.
Designed to go beyond the traditional cordial occasion, the bottlegreen x Highgrove collection can also be used to create spritzes, cocktails and sophisticated alcohol-free serves, opening up additional drinking occasions and giving retailers opportunities to merchandise the range across entertaining, gifting and premium drinks.
With its distinctive botanical packaging, strong provenance, charitable contribution and the profile of the Highgrove collaboration, the range offers speciality retailers a compelling new proposition ahead of the key autumn and Christmas trading period.
The bottlegreen x Highgrove collection launches in October and will be available to speciality retailers through Cotswold Fayre.
