Asahi UK, the only major brewer to grow off-trade share of beer every week this year,[1] has unveiled Super Sales, a new impartial category advice resource to help convenience retailers grow their beer sales and profits.

Promising ‘Retail advice on tap’, Super Sales delivers data-led advice on the beer market, ranging insights, and convenience-focused planograms for different sized stores. Regional bestsellers are also highlighted, helping retailers reflect local tastes and preferences.

The site also features insights on three key growth areas in the market – premium lager (up by +5.4%), no & low (up by +20.4%) and mid-packs, which are the fastest-growing pack size in convenience (up by +2%).[2]

With the top 15 SKUs accounting for a third of convenience total beer category sales,[3] Super Sales presents retailers with a simple checklist that they can use to monitor how many bestsellers they are stocking and identify missed opportunities. Reflecting the company’s data-driven commitment to impartiality, 11 of the recommended SKUs highlighted are not Asahi UK products.

Super Sales also has a section for latest trends, currently offering retailers timely advice on how to get the most from seasonal opportunities, such as Christmas and New Year.

Faye Brown, category manager (off-trade) at Asahi UK, said: “Premium lager is the fastest-growing price segment in the market, but is still an area that is often under-represented in stores.

“At Asahi UK, all our key brands are in the premium segment, so we are well-placed to support retailers with authoritative market insights and ranging suggestions that can help them drive further growth into the beer category.”

The Super Sales site is now live and accessible here and will be updated with more features and services throughout 2026.
