Wholesalers and suppliers struggling to get to grips with the AI revolution will receive a helping hand thanks to a webinar set to be hosted by b2b.store in February.
Aimed at improving understanding of AI tools and how they can be used within the wholesale sector, the webinar is free for anyone to join and will take place at 10.30am on Thursday 5th February.
The half-hour AI in Wholesale webinar will cover all the basics of AI and provide tips that can be quickly and easily applied to businesses to prepare them for the influx of new technology.
One of the key topics raised in the webinar will be around data security and how businesses that haven’t considered putting AI practices or policies in place could be leaving themselves vulnerable to information leaks and other threats.
People registering for the webinar will also be provided with an AI checklist that will highlight areas wholesalers and suppliers need to focus on in order to be AI ready. All points will be easily achievable, even if even budget and time is tight.
b2b.store has run a series of in-depth AI sessions in the sector in the past few months and recently agreed to be Sugro’s official AI consultant as part of its AI Accelerator programme.
Its B2B engagement platform, ProConnect, has also been enhanced with a series of AI tools that will go live in early January.
“AI is a big talking point among wholesalers and suppliers, and it’s no surprise because it’s set to have a huge impact on the way every industry works,” said b2b.store CEO Rob Mannion.
“We hear a lot of people in the sector saying they want a better understanding of AI tools, but don’t know where to start, so we wanted to provide an easy-to-understand first step along that journey.
“Sitting on your hands waiting to see what happens is a dangerous tactic with AI. Business security threats are a growing issue, while inactivity also leaves you at a commercial disadvantage.”
