Sugro UK, the member-owned buying and marketing group comprising of over 90 independent wholesalers, announced the expansion of its membership with the addition of The DBC Group Ltd as a new member to the group.
The DBC Group Ltd, previously known as The Discount Brand Company, based in Biggleswade, have been trading since February 2013, supplying a wide range of food and non-food products across the UK and overseas. With a new focus on Van Sales, they are upweighting their UK and Retail supply focus.
Dan Yellop, Managing Director at DBC Group commented:
“After 3 years of continual growth in the UK wholesale space, we’ve been looking for a way to maintain that trajectory, and not start to flat-line! After a lot of research, we found that becoming a Sugro member was the natural next step in our development as a company. We’re really looking forward to working closely with Sugro in their 40th year, along with all their members and suppliers to build long-term trading partnerships to better everyone’s business.”
Sugro’s Business Development Manager, Sue Hubber added: “We are very excited to welcome Dan and the rest of the Team at DBC GROUP, to the Sugro Family.
