After two hugely successful years, the wholesale industry’s must-attend leadership conference, Destination 2027, returns bigger, bolder and more future-focused.

Created and hosted by Clare Bocking, MD of Immediate Impact and Chair of Women in Wholesale, Destination 2027 brings together senior leaders from across the wholesale, convenience, and foodservice sectors to inspire bold thinking, challenge the status quo, and encourage leaders to make profit and a difference.

Last year’s event welcomed hundreds of attendees and raised over £50,000 for Mines Advisory Group (MAG), the charity supported by the industry through its long-standing cycling challenges.

“This event was born from the power of doing something meaningful together,” says Clare Bocking. “Through our annual industry bike rides, we’ve raised money, built deep connections, and experienced the impact we can make when we unite behind a purpose. Destination 2027 brings that same energy into the room, helping leaders drive commercial growth while being a force for good.”

What’s new for 2027?

This year expands beyond economic outlooks to focus on innovation, community, and data-driven transformation, equipping leaders for sustainable success amid change.

The conference will feature keynote perspectives from some of the UK’s most influential wholesalers, retailers, and suppliers, sharing strategies to:

  • Lead through turbulence
  • Build meaningful communities and partnerships
  • Turn insight into action
  • Drive purposeful profit and growth

Destination 2027 is taking place on Tuesday 3rd February 2026 at The Coton Centre in Tamworth, with keynote speakers including:

  • Debbie Robinson, CEO, Central Co-op Thinking globally to win locally
  • Tanya Pepin, MD, TWC Insight for action: Tech & trends for 2027

Andrew Selley, CEO of Bidcorp UK, comments: “In challenging market conditions, business leaders have two choices, defend the present or shape the future. What Clare has designed in Destination 2027 is all about choosing the latter: sharing ideas, innovating together and pushing for progress. When our sector collaborates, we don’t just weather change, we drive it.”
