More than 100 local and national food businesses are expected to attend the annual Medina Foodservice Food Show, which takes place on 5 March 2026 at Tapnell Farm.
Caterers from across the Isle of Wight will be able to talk to a range of brands about what’s new in food and drink, as well as sampling new and exciting products that will feature on menus across the island this summer and beyond.
The long-standing event, which has run for more than ten years, sees local suppliers including Calbourne Classics, The Homemade Brownie Company and the Isle of Wight Ice Cream Company joined by iconic British brands including Burts Crisps, Proper Cornish and Pip Organic to showcase their produce to the island’s food businesses. They will be joined by Medina chefs who will be preparing a variety of dishes for customers to sample, showcasing the breadth of its range.
As the only foodservice wholesaler based on the Isle of Wight, Medina is ideally placed to understand the challenges and opportunities facing local food businesses. However, while the business is locally focused, it is backed by the world’s largest foodservice supplier, Sysco, which gives it a unique perspective on local knowledge and global trends.
Neil Williams, Medina Foodservice Managing Director, said: “There is a passionate and knowledgeable food community on the Isle of Wight, and it is great to be able to highlight how global foods might impact local businesses. The unique operating environment we have here means that as a specialist, island-focused business, we can really add value to our customers, and this is a good example of how we do that.”
Medina Foodservice has been servicing food businesses across the Isle of Wight for more than 75 years and is the only foodservice wholesaler based on the island.
