From October, retailers will be able to get their hands on the latest Red Bull Winter Edition, with the taste of Fuji Apple and Ginger, available with and without sugar.

A taste that combines one of the world’s most popular apple varieties with the spiciness of earthy ginger Red Bull Winter Edition, with the taste of Fuji Apple and Ginger is a perfect pairing for winter enjoyment, and consumer feedback is positive, describing the taste as zingy, refreshing and giving a boost. Nearly three quarters of consumers find the flavour profile appealing – more so for younger shoppers, under 35[1]. What’s more, with its unique gradient effect that transitions from warm red to yellow, the new pack has clear shelf standout and will no doubt encourage trial.

Functional Flavoured Energy Drinks are now bought by 22% of the GB population[2] and with 1 in 3 shoppers excited to try new flavours often[3], bringing innovation to store is key – the latest Red Bull Winter Edition aims to do just this.

Editions continue to be a vital driver of category growth, recruiting more new shoppers year on year[4] as they increasingly seek out the range instore[5].

The new flavour follows the successful launch of Red Bull’s second Winter Edition, Iced Vanilla Berry in 2024, which drove engagement of flavours over the winter period. With 63% of purchases planned, the launch was effective at bringing shoppers into store at a key time to drive sales[6], demonstrating the additional sales opportunity presented by limited edition and seasonal products around at Christmas, as well as the summer.

Red Bull Winter Edition Fuji Apple and Ginger is available with and without sugar in single 355ml and 473ml cans and 4 x 250ml multipack, as well as full sugar 250ml can (plain and PMC). To drive trial, for a limited time from launch, Red Bull is also introducing a £1 PMC can of the new Red Bull Winter Edition as a WIGIG.
