Waterside Food Services Ltd, an independent, family-run foodservice wholesaler in the Midlands, is proud to announce the successful relocation of its entire operations to a 32,000 square-foot depot at Unit 4, Premier Park, Lichfield Road, Branston. This strategic move brings all previously separate facilities into one modern site, enhancing efficiency and capacity to better serve customers across foodservice sectors including hospitality, education, care homes, sports venues, and more.

Since its founding in 2015, Waterside has grown from a single-van operation into a thriving wholesaler with a diversified product range spanning frozen, chilled, ambient, beverage, disposables, equipment and cleaning categories, supported by a fleet of multi-temperature vehicles.

The relocation consolidates operations that were previously spread across three separate warehouses in Rugeley into one centralised facility. The new depot not only streamlines internal processes but also increases storage capacity, improves logistics and creates a more cohesive working environment for staff. These enhancements are designed to support continued growth and uphold the high standards of service that Waterside’s customers receive.

Bringing all of our operations together under one roof represents a huge milestone for Waterside,” said Chris Morgan, Managing Director of Waterside Food Services Ltd. “This move allows us to operate more efficiently, better manage stock, and offer an even higher level of service to our customers. Our team is excited for what the future holds as we settle into this fantastic new facility.”

The relocation also positions Waterside Food Services for further expansion and puts the company in a premium location on the A38 with excellent road links, enhancing distribution capabilities across the Midlands and beyond.

To celebrate the move, Waterside Food Services are hosting both customers and suppliers at the new site for an open day on Wednesday 28th January.
