Local Hero Lorraine Wilkinson, a Lecturer from Kirkcaldy Scotland, has been awarded with £250 Love2shop vouchers from Unitas Wholesale Ltd following a Community Hero Competition advertised in Today’s Retailer, the organisation’s digital magazine which has been developed to support independent retailers across the UK.
Lorraine was nominated by retailer Naila Waseem, who felt Lorraine was more than deserving to receive the prize.
From helping the young to the old, cooking lunches for the homeless, raising money for multiple charities, organising community events and even digging people out when it’s snowing, Lorraine is always going the extra mile.
