Roust, the largest integrated spirits producer and distributor in Central and Eastern Europe and the second-largest vodka producer in the world, announces today the appointment of Neil Jardine as Managing Director for the UK distribution business, Roust UK Ltd.
Neil has over 25 years FMCG experience, having held senior roles at Sara Lee, Nestle and Greene King. Most recently, Neil served as MD of the newly formed Disaronno UK, where he was instrumental in setting up this business.
Jonathan Ashworth (MD EMEA Region) said, “We are delighted to have appointed Neil to take over the running of our business in the UK, which is a key export market for Roust and our portfolio of authentic vodka brands. Neil’s breadth of experience and most recently his valuable experience setting up Disaronno UK will be a great asset”.
Neil commented, “I have been a long-term admirer of the Roust vodka portfolio and the rich history and provenance of Russian Standard and Żubrówka. Neil will also lead the innovation and sustainability programme in the UK, focusing on expanding the Roust UK portfolio to drive further future growth and profitability.
Roust UK is a 1M case business in the UK selling authentic Russian and Polish vodkas through its own distribution operation as well as working with Paragon Brands and GRP distribution businesses.
