From Apple Day to launch day- a cider crafted from community fruit to provide donations to the people’s chosen charity- Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance
Purbeck Cider, the independent Dorset cidermaker behind Purbeck Gold and Muddy Scamp, announce the launch of its latest limited edition charity cider, People’s Choice, made from the fruit exchanged at their first Apple Day in September 2025. What’s more, for every litre sold £1 will be donated to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. Charity suggestions were provided by the community at Apple Day and put to the vote, with this year’s chosen charity being Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
“Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance is delighted to be chosen as Purbeck Cider’s charity partner for their People’s Choice cider. This initiative is a real celebration of community spirit, from the apples donated at Apple Day to the funds raised for our life-saving charity through every sale of this special cider. We would like to thank everyone who voted for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, as well as Purbeck Cider for creating such a fantastic opportunity. Support like this enables our crew to save lives across Dorset, Somerset and beyond.” Erika Singh, Corporate Partnerships Lead
