Mars Wrigley expands the M&M’S® portfolio to unlock seasonal growth
Mars Wrigley is strengthening its seasonal confectionery offering with the launch of NEW M&M’S® Chocolate Minis Funsize, bringing one of the nation’s favourite chocolate brands into the fun-sized sharing format for the first time.
The new 220g sharing pack, which contains 11 x 20g fun-sized bags, has been developed to meet growing demand for convenient, portioned formats that are perfect for trick-or-treating, Halloween parties, and seasonal sharing occasions.
M&M’S® Chocolate Minis Funsize launched into major retailers nationwide including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Co-Op from mid-July (£4.90 RSP)*.
Georgia Woodward, Senior Brand Manager for M&M’S®, said: “Halloween is one of the biggest confectionery moments of the year, so we’re excited to bring M&M’S® Minis into a fun-sized format for the very first time. As shoppers increasingly look for shareable products ahead of the season, this launch gives retailers an exciting new way to capitalise on demand while introducing M&M’S® into a format consumers already know and love.”
With Halloween remaining one of the largest sales opportunities for retailers (Halloween category value sales grew by 1.6% in 2025[1]), confectionery continues to play a central role in celebrations. 62% of consumers marking the occasion with chocolate and sweets and, as the number one manufacturer by market share during Halloween, Mars Wrigley is well placed to help retailers maximise these seasonal sales with the introduction of M&M’S® Minis Funsize.
